Shipping Standards

How we handle every shipment.

Dispatch Cutoff

Orders confirmed and inventory cleared by 14:00 local time are dispatched the same business day. Orders received after cutoff are processed the following business day.

Packaging Standards

All outbound parcels are packed to IATA/ISTA standards. Fragile and liquid goods (including spirits) are packed with custom foam inserts, absorbent lining, and leak-proof secondary containment.

Tracking

All shipments receive a carrier tracking number issued within 2 hours of dispatch. Tracking information is available via the relevant carrier portal (DHL, UPS, MBE) or on request from our team.

Customs Documentation

All international shipments are accompanied by a commercial invoice, packing list, Certificate of Origin, and any required regulatory permits (TTB, FDA Prior Notice). We handle all documentation preparation.

Insurance

Borea's carrier liability applies up to standard carrier limits. For high-value shipments, we strongly recommend — and can arrange — all-risk cargo insurance covering the full CIF value of the goods. Contact us for a quote.

Damaged & Lost Shipments

In the event of damage or loss, Borea opens a carrier claim on the Client's behalf within 48 hours of notification. Full photographic documentation of outbound packing is retained for 90 days.

Incoterms

Delivery terms we operate under.

The Incoterm used for each shipment is agreed in the individual Service Agreement or Quote. The following are the terms most commonly applied to Borea Group operations:
